Adrian Diaz, RADT

Hello, My name is Adrian Diaz and I am proudly the Operations Director here at Wellness Detox of LA here in Pomona. I truly enjoy working not only in this field but at this facility because of the growth and opportunity presented to me. I am truly blessed and honored to work here alongside a great team and chasing the mission to get people sober! I first got into this field due to Covid which was a blessing in disguise and personally dealing with family that were lifelong drug and alcohol addicts and living with them and navigating through it all, I knew this field was for me. I want to be the one in my family that breaks that cycle of addiction and teach not only my family but others what it’s like to be sober and that life is better being sober! I have worked in all levels of care from primarily mental health to Detox/Res, PHP,IOP and has truly been a blessing to be apart of and I don’t regret a single day of being a part of their recovery as I’ve been told “freedom you receive, freedom you give”. My overall day to day is ensuring we’re operating as efficiently as possible such as ensuring we’re gathering all clients to programming and overseeing our cooking, planning out our outings, ensuring staff are fully trained and equipped to provide the care that everyone comes here for.

Here at WDLA, we truly believe that we can’t do it without each other, from medical,to clinical, to operations we know we all play a small part of such a big thing, and as we all work together and see each other more than our families at times we love to know we provide a good environment to be yourself and believe that everyone has something to offer to every client that comes in. Something that has kept me grounded at all times is referring to my higher power and learning how to play the piano and also became the music director at my church. I have an amazing wife that supports me and is very understanding of what I do and knows that what I do is not just work, but is to care for these clients no matter the time or day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wife alongside having a beautiful family to depend on. I look forward to seeing what the future holds and bringing restoration to these clients and i am very honored and privileged to be trusted to be apart of this team and everyone’s recovery.
