Ashley Hurtado, is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate the early stages of recovery with compassion, understanding, and clinical excellence. As a therapist at Marina Harbor Detox, Ashley works closely with clients as they begin their healing journey, providing trauma-informed care and individualized support during one of the most transformative periods of treatment.
Ashley earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University. Her educational background, combined with her commitment to client-centered care, allows her to help individuals address the emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges that often accompany substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.
In her role, Ashley facilitates individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients develop insight into the underlying factors contributing to their struggles while building healthier coping skills and emotional resilience. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
